Old Olive Street Road Great Street Plan
In furtherance of the 39N Master Plan, the City of Creve Coeur, and the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, entered into a contract with Christner, Inc. to further study the redesign of the Old Olive Street Road as a main street corridor, in anticipation of the redesign of the Olive Boulevard and Lindbergh Boulevard interchange. After numerous workshops in the area the final design has been submitted for adoption. The Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on this amendment for adoption on Monday, August 5, 2019. City Council Action is not required. If adopted by P&Z, the Old Olive Street Road Great Street Plan will be included as an addendum to the City’s comprehensive plan, Creve Coeur 2030, which was adopted in March 2017 by the Planning and Zoning Commission, and the 39 N Master Plan that was adopted in June of 2017.
Adopted in April 2002, the City adopted Design Guidelines to guide good building and site design. Applications to the Planning and Zoning Commission are evaluated against these guidelines as part of the review process.
