Previously, Mayor Glantz was elected to four terms on the Creve Coeur City Council from 1992-2000, serving as council president in 1996-1997. In addition, he was appointed to three terms on the Creve Coeur Planning & Zoning Commission from 2002-2011.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of architecture degree, Mayor Glantz is a member of the National Association of Home Builders Board of Directors and has also served two terms as Vice President of the Home Builders Association of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri. In addition to his service with the City of Creve Coeur, Mayor Glantz is a member of the St. Louis County Building Commission, and the Advisory Board at Enterprise Bank. He is also a past President of the Municipal League of Metro St. Louis, and a former board member of the East West Gateway Council of Governments.
