The City of Creve Coeur’s public forum on June 6 will continue as scheduled but shift its focus to a discussion on ways to improve government in the St. Louis region, such as the Board of Freeholders process supported by the Municipal League of St. Louis. The public forum will start at 7:00 p.m., at the Danforth Plant Science Center, 975 N. Warson Rd.
This change of focus is a result of the group known as Better Together announcing its withdrawal of the petition to merge St. Louis City, St. Louis County and all county municipalities. UMSL Professor Emeritus Terry Jones will lead a discussion on the current state of the St. Louis region’s government and opportunities for change going forward, followed by the opportunity for questions from the audience.
This event will take the place of "Coffee with the Mayor" for the month of June, which is held the first Thursday of every month.
