TAI CHI

Tai Chi For Arthritis and Fall Prevention:  Tai Chi principles are based on the law of nature using slow, gentle movements to restore harmony with oneself, others and our surroundings.  It is a personal journey towards developing awareness of body, oneself and our life force.

It benefits health by improving muscular strength, flexibility, balance, posture and builds immunity.  It also improves depression and stress.

Stretch and Tone Fitness Class:  Low impact Total Body Workout done with choreographed routines to music seated and standing.  Developed to incorporate all joints and muscle groups with full range of motion and stretching exercises to improve cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and tone.
 
"No Fall" Ball Class:  Core strengthening class done on the "Yoga" ball.  Combining Upper and Lower body exercises with emphasis on the "Core" building improved body alignment and posture, muscular strength and balance.  This class specifically develops abdominal and low back muscles for stability and fall prevention.

Instructor:  Myrlynn Henley, a retired Medical Professional with 40+ years experience in Nursing and Physical Therapy.  Myrlynn is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, Tai Chi, Fitness and Yoga Instructor.  For any questions on classes email her at: myrlynnhenley@gmail.ccom

LEARN TO SKATE GROUP LESSONS
The Creve Coeur Figure Skating Academy is a Learn to Skate program using U.S. Figure Skating curriculum. Whether you want to learn to skate or improve your skills, our 30 minutes-per-week lessons are designed with you in mind. The Creve Coeur Skating Academy offers a chance to cool down this summer while learning the fundamentals of skating! Classes are limited and fill quickly. Learn more.

TENNIS LESSONS
Sign up for tennis lessons either on Tuesdays at Lake School Park or Wednesdays at Dr. H. Phillip Venable Memorial Park. Sessions are available for ages 4 and older. Learn more.
