Parks Master Plan

Parks and Recreation Master Plan

The Creve Coeur Parks and Recreation Master Plan project is a community-based plan identifying improvements to city parks for the next 10 years. The study was led by Planning Design Studio, a St. Louis area landscape architecture firm specializing in park planning. Following extensive public engagement of residents, park users and public officials, the plan was adopted by City Council on September 23, 2019.

The Parks Master Plan objectives included: identifying current conditions in the parks; identifying needed improvements; exploring development scenarios to address the needs and desires of the community; exploring connectivity of biking/hiking opportunities in the area; developing a budget for proposed project and development scenarios; and identifying priorities and strategies for funding park improvements.

The adopted Parks Master Plan includes recommendations for improvements to all city parks, including renovations to existing facilities as well as new amenities.

Millennium Park Master Plan

The Millennium Park Master Plan builds upon the general recommendations in the Creve Coeur Parks Master Plan that was adopted in 2019 and provides a more detailed outline for improvements to Millennium Park with updated cost estimates. The study was led by Planning Design Studio (PDS), a St. Louis area landscape architecture firm that specializes in park planning. Following months of review and input from Creve Coeur residents, City staff and park stakeholders, the City Council adopted the Millennium Park Master Plan on October 25, 2021.
