Elected to City Council in April 2018, Heather Silverman has been a resident of Creve Coeur for over five years.
Heather is currently the Director of Policy and Evaluation for the National Council of Jewish Women St. Louis, a volunteer-driven organization that aims to advance social and economic justice for all women, children and families.
Before she was elected to the City Council, Heather was a member of the Creve Coeur Planning and Zoning Commission. She is currently a Council representative on the city's Audit Committee and Venable Park Task Force, Council liaison for the city's Police & Safety Committee, and Economic Justice Chair of the St. Louis Ending Violence Against Women Network. She received her B.A. from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and her M.A. from Tel Aviv University in Israel.
Heather and her husband Ross have three children—Hunter, Bennett and Ellie.
