Elected to the City Council in June 2020, Dan Tierney has lived in Creve Coeur for more than 35 years and currently resides at 224 Cuiseaux Ct.
Dan is currently the council liaison for the Parks and Historic Preservation Committee and a council representative on the Audit Committee. A long-time advocate for public art, Dan served on the Creve Coeur Arts Committee from 2011-2020, as well as the Public Art Task Force and the Recycling, Environment and Beautification Committee from 2009-2011. He is the co-founder and board member of the Creative Communities Alliance, a coalition of municipal and nonprofit organizations dedicated to the development of community arts in the St. Louis region. In 2012, Dan was awarded Creve Coeur Citizen of the Year, recognizing his contributions toward bringing public art to Creve Coeur and the greater St. Louis area.
Dan is a comptroller for the St. Louis Black Repertory Company, financial consultant for DaySpring Arts & Education, and financial consultant for the East St. Louis Township. He and his wife, Gina, have two adult children, Ryan and Bridget.
