The Prescription Pill and Drug Disposal Program is a collaborative effort among communities, police departments, city officials, students and more. The Creve Coeur Police Department participates in this program and has a prescription drug drop off box open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Creve Coeur Police Department lobby (350 N. New Ballas Rd.)

The mission of the program is to provide St. Louis County communities with a responsible method of pharmaceutical disposal that effectively reduces the misuse and abuse of pharmaceuticals, as well as, ensures the quality of water in our rivers and for future generations. Access a list of offsite drop off locations. Please note that all drop off locations are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of Olivette and Webster Groves.

The Creve Coeur Police Department does take part in the national prescription 'Drug Take-Back' program sponsored by the DEA. This event is generally held twice a year in the spring and fall months.
