The city is hosting a free and fun-filled Arbor Day Celebration on Sunday, April 29. This family-friendly event includes face painting, a craft activity, a plant giveaway, educational displays, as well as a display of entries from the all-ages art contest. ART CONTEST ENTRY:

All entries:

• Not to exceed 9” x 12”
• May be any two-dimensional medium: pencil, watercolor, crayon, marker, oil, photo, digital design, etc.
• Theme: Wonders of Nature (any aspect of nature is acceptable)
• Must list artist’s name, category, address and phone number on the back of the art piece

Art contest entries are due March 29. Submit artwork to:
