[ARCHIVED] Crime Prevention: Registering Your Home Surveillance System

Police Logo

Do you have video surveillance outside of your home? If so, the Creve Coeur Police Department wants you to register your camera with Crimereports.com

In the event of criminal activity, your camera may have captured information that is vital to a police investigation. By registering your camera, the police department may request to view camera footage to assist with an investigation. This would not give the police department the ability to access your cameras remotely—it would simply add your name to a database as a resource for officers. Help us make Creve Coeur a “hard target” against criminals by registering your cameras!

The Creve Coeur Police Department encourages residents to take an active role in crime prevention. A successful partnership between the citizens of Creve Coeur and the officers who protect and serve them is only possible with active participation from both.

For more information on how to register your video surveillance system, visit Crimereports.com or contact our Crime Prevention Officer at (314) 442-2075 or crimeprevention@crevecoeurmo.gov.
