National Night Out is going virtual. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Creve Coeur has come up with a hopefully temporary alternative to our traditional night out in hopes of returning to neighborhood caravans next year.
As part of Virtual Night Out, the Creve Coeur Police Department has uploaded videos featuring equipment demonstrations—watch them here.
National night out is a community building campaign celebrated throughout the nation centered around the great partnerships between the police and residents. In Creve Coeur, we have our citizen-ran Neighborhood Watch board and business partnerships through the Creve Coeur Joint Crime Prevention Partnership. These two organizations were instrumental in us being able to fill up a police car full of canned goods which were donated today to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.
It also encourages neighborhoods to come together. National night out is October 6, 2020. The Creve Coeur Police Department is always willing to assist neighborhoods. Please contact the Crime Prevention Officer at 314-442-2075 if you have any questions.
