In accordance with a recent amendment passed by the City Council to authorize bow hunting in certain city parks, the Creve Coeur Police Department is scheduled to host a bow hunt at Millennium Park on Wednesday, October 28 from 5:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. The park will be closed to patrons while the bow hunt is in progress and two police officers will be present for public safety. Three hunters were randomly selected from the list of registered hunters with the city. Each hunter has attended a meeting to review area boundaries, rules, restrictions, safety and special considerations of hunting in a suburban location.
If you have any questions regarding the bow hunt, please contact Capt. Tim Koncki at 314-274-2106 or tkoncki@crevecoeurmo.gov.
