[ARCHIVED] Mosley Road Rehabilitation Project Underway

Mosley Road Rehabilitation Project

Rehabilitation of Mosley Road from Olive Boulevard to Ladue Road is currently underway. Improvements include an asphalt overlay, sidewalk updates, stormwater improvements and minor widening to improve ridability and safety.

The sidewalk updates along the west side of Mosley Road are scheduled to be completed by the end of July. Once completed, crews will begin work on the sections of Mosley Road that require full-depth pavement replacement. This includes one section between Mosley Acres and Elsie Manor Court and another section north of Morwood Lane. These sections of Mosley Road will be closed in both directions during construction. Motorists should plan to avoid the area when possible and follow detour signs in place.

In mid-August, crews will begin work on the east side of Mosley Road. This phase of construction will include widening the road one to three feet, installing new drainage pipes and improving the drainage swales alongside the road to better channel stormwater runoff. In September, a new asphalt surface will be installed, with the entire rehabilitation project scheduled for completion in October. This project is partially funded by a federal grant.

Full Road Closure Notice: Beginning Tuesday, September 6, at 7:00 a.m., the 500 block of Mosley Road from Elsie Manor Court to Mosley Acres Drive will be closed to rebuild a section of the road. This section of Mosley Road is scheduled to remain closed until September 13.
