Business Awards

The City of Creve Coeur Economic Development Committee (EDC) recognized the winners of the second Creve Coeur Business awards with a ceremony on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the Venture Cafe: 39 N. Creve Coeur Mayor Barry Glantz announced the winners including:

  • Pumpernickle’s Deli – Favorite Restaurant Award
  • PayCom – Most Innovative Business Award
  • The National Council of Jewish Women-St. Louis Chapter – Heart of the Community Award

“I would like to congratulate all of the winners and nominees,” said Glantz, “Our businesses play an integral role in the success of our community, and it is essential that we take time to recognize and thank them for investing in Creve Coeur.”

The awards recognize local businesses for their outstanding innovation and contributions to the Creve Coeur Community. All Creve Coeur businesses were eligible to be nominated. Nominations were accepted through March 15, 2017.

The EDC selected the winners of the Most Innovative Business Award and the Heart of the Community Award. The winner of the Favorite Restaurant Award was selected by public vote.

“We will remain an integral part of the dynamic Creve Coeur business community,” said Sekhar Prabhakar, EDC chair. “We intend to assist in building a vibrant business ecosystem, create awareness in the community about these businesses leading to networking, and promote job growth and workforce development in Creve Coeur.”
