The November election will have one of the longest ballots seen in recent years, however voters can prepare for the polls ahead of time by reviewing their sample ballot online. By reviewing the ballot beforehand, voters can ensure they have time to research the different issues and make informed decisions, while also helping keep the wait time at polling places low. Voters can mark up the sample ballot they receive in the mail or mark up a sample ballot printed from the Election Board website and bring it to the polls to use as a guide.
The Election Board website is a good resource for voter information, where you can find your sample ballot, check your voter registration, and find your polling place.
Polls will be open on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
