Prior to voter approval of the parks and stormwater sales tax in November 2020, Creve Coeur was one of a small number of cities in St. Louis County that had not implemented the parks and stormwater sales tax. All communities adjacent to Creve Coeur (with the exception of Westwood Village, which has no city parks) had adopted the parks and stormwater sales tax.
